Geez I am still crying. My god and the sad part about it is that it's true.

Yes it was very sad - but I don;t really see the point of those pieces - they make sense to us - becuase we are dog lovers - but to irresponsible dog owners - they wouldn;t take a blind bit of notice of them - in fact I am sure they would read them and think to them selves that some crazy dog lady wrote it.

So at the end of the day I think that they only ones that they upset are us the dog lovers and I don;t relaly see the point of that.

Just my two cents. I am sure I am going to bashed royally for it too.

You're allowed you own opinion, but in other ways, I do disagree with you. It may reach out to a youth, and teach them. So everybody know what I mean? It can reach out to people who really don't know how bad the situations is. I think especially this one, because it gives the dogs a human like voice, so people can relate to them, and that may touch them even deeper. I think we should use stories like this to educate young people and people who don't know any better. Like my dad. He is responsible for a litter that is now in my house house. Even though I KNEW it was a bad idea, he babysat a Chihuahua that is intact(the owner still hasn't come to retreive the dog, and we had her for 2 months before the pups, the pups will be 8 weeks old on the 1st...). WE have a male Pomeranian who is also intact. Guess what happened. 5 puppies later... It does upset me very much, but it wasn't within my control, unfortunately. We HAVE however found homes for these puppies. Too bad though that, if these pups were never born, those potential homes could've gone to a dog who was in greater need.
