    Unhappy

I have a pure bred Beagle...he is 5 years old and up to date on everything. He has been throwing up all day and he will not eat!! If anyone is familiar with beagles you know they love to be outside and will jet out the door the first chance they get. i have asked him to go outside and everrything today just to get some reaction out of him but all he wants to do is lay there. he is vomiting up all this white stuff. he hasnt eaten anything!! can someone tell me what this might be?

You don't mention if bowel movements are normal and/or abdominal pain. The white stuff is normal when the stomach is empty. Will he drink water?
You will need to monitor him closely as dogs something get upset stomach such like humans. HOWEVER, if there is any blood, fever, restlessness (Crying, etc) I would take him immediately to a vet. From previous posts, this seemst to be quite common right now.

It sound like you have a sick dog but not one who is in distress. The slight tremors I assume they could also be shivers?

If you can, get in to see your vet especially if the vomiting continues for more than one day or is severe.
