Yippeee for Oshee!
I just got done giving Oshee a bath..Very productive!Washed every part of her body & got her all rinsed off! Then as soon as I brought her back to the living room, what does she do? Roll all over the dirty floor!
Oh well,at least I got to give her a bath!

Good for you! Glad it was a success! My sister's dog loves to roll around after a bath or swimming. Yesterday was warm so I took the dogs swimming, and what does Summit do when we get back? Rolls in the bushes and gets all muddy!! YIKES!!

I took her into my parents bathroom & let her sniff the shower & then she started to lean in,so I picked her up & put her in the shower,She grew about 6 more legs, but I managed to get her in & I got in,& closed the door behind me.I then talked to her very quietly & told her she was a good girl & then I very slowly turned on the water & let it drip & then I began to increase the water pressure as she got used to it.Then after she was completely wet,I remembered that I had FORGOTTEN THE SHAMPOO UNDER THE SINK!!!!Getting her lathered up was easy! She wouldn't stand still,so that I could rinse her off,so I had to turn the water pressure up as if I was going to shave my legs. Before,I had had it at just above a trickle. Then she started standing & sitting, standing & sitting, she wouldn't just be still,so it took me about 15 minutes just to rinse her off, then after that I let her out of the shower & she shook off. Then I let her out into the living room & she went and rolled on the floor & blankets & couch & loveseat.

pittiegurl: How are you rinsing her? Let me tell you, those massaging shower heads are the greatest. You know the ones I am talking about? It is so easy to "chase" the dog around the tub with it to rinse them off... and then you don't have to have their whole body under the running water at once.....
Congrats again! |
