Bumps into things, doesn't want to go up and/or down stairs. Is easily startled. These are just a few off the top of my head. Of course, if blindness, or poor eyesight, is suspected, you should have your dog examined by a dog opthalomogist.

If your dog has recently gone blind, it's not a good idea the change the furniture around. I read where someone sprayed a cologne or perfume on the legs of the furniture to help the dog know where the furniture was.

Hope that helps a little.

My pup is fully blind in one eye and almost completely in the other. Yes he is started to bump into things, but before that happened we knew it becasue his eyes got clowdy and eventually turned white. Here is a good Pic of his blind eye...can you see how it is clowdy/almost white. The other is also white/clowdy, just not as bad

If you take your pup to the vet he can let you knwo for sure, and also if it can be repaired. Unfortunatly my Alex could not be repaired, but some pups can.

Reid isn't blind (thank God), but I'm not sure about Carmen. There is no clouding in the dogs eyes, but she doesn't seem to notice things unless she hears them. WHen she gets scared she weaves around like she cant find you b ut will calm down when you put a hand on her. I think she sees some, like shadows.
