On the other side of the door

Most of you see the dogs that are healthy and happy in their foster homes when you go to pet finder or any other adoption board looking for a new companion. But consider the other side of the door for a moment. The rescue people who take in the dogs that are starved, beaten or just plain neglected.
Case in point is litttle Teddy who just arrived in sheltie rescue on Monday. He was so covered with yeast infection and sarcoptic mange that he had to be rushed to the vets office before he went anywhere else. He is one of the lucky ones, his ills are all physical and can be cured with a little medication and care.... But seeing these poor dogs from our side of the door may make you understand why we can't quit....

Please support your local rescue organizations with volunteer help and with compassion for these little guys that don't deserve to live their lives like this......
