Riddle is really itchy. :(

Yesterday morning I noticed that Riddle was itching and chewing a LOT on inner her hind leg/belly area. When I got home midmorning to potty her (I go home from work every few hours to potty her) I saw that she was still itching pretty badly, so I called her vet.

I have a really good skin remedy shampoo I use (I'll link it at the bottom) and Dr. Blauvelt said to go ahead and bathe her in that for a few days to see how she does. So I bathed her yesterday with it, but she's still itching quite a bit. I just gave her another bath with it today, so we'll see.

There are a few things I think it could be:
Climate change- Her climate has changed to warm and humid/moist to hot and dry (we got her from the Portland humane society).
We don't have any grass at the moment- The previous tenants hadn't planted any, and it is too hot to plant any right now. All there are is weeds and dirt, which I think could be irritating her.
She is also on immunity boosters since she has kennel cough. Dr. Blauvelt didn't think it was severe enough to warrant antibiotics, so she is getting Astragalas syrup 2x a day and a powder of mixed boosters (echinacea, etc.) 1x a day.

I don't think its food allergies- The shelter was feeding her about 8 different sorts of low-grade puppy kibble, and she didn't have itchy skin when we got her.

What did the vet say? How often have you been bathing her before the itching started?

As I said up above, Dr. Blauvelt said to bathe her for a few days with the skin remedy shampoo and see what happened.

I've only had her since Sunday. I bathed her once Monday because she was stinky and dirty from the shelter, and a friend rinsed her off (no shampoo used) on Wednesday because she rolled in the dirt when she pottied her. Thursday was when I noticed the itching, and I've bathed her in the skin remedy sh. Thursday and Friday, and probably will today.

I've never heard of it. Is it over the counter?
