Possible new foster.

Well I just got a call from Animal Control in Woodbridge, NJ. An ACO called me from her home in desperation about a Siberian they have at the shelter. She said that most of the Siberian rescues in NJ have not gotten back to her, and the ones that did simply said they were full and were of no help trying to find her referrals. I was really disappointed to hear that. She's been trying to find him a rescue for weeks. I'm going to call a couple tomorrow just to make sure before we arrange the transport. But if that fails, I have a new foster dog coming here next Sunday. You can view him here, his name is Jessie: http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/...?petid=6760384

The site says he is Malamute/Siberian mix but she said the only reason they put Malamute mix on there is because of his ears. It doesn't matter to me, I've had a Malamute come through my rescue before. I think he looks Siberian, and can't wait to see the little guy in person.

It just really bugs me that the rescues in that state weren't more helpful and that most of them didn't even return calls/e-mails at all. Grrr!
