I Can't potty Train my husky pup

Ive done almost everything that everyone told me to do, but i still cant get her to go outside. She is over 2 months old now, and im having trouble having her go outside to do her business. I know like when a pup eats or drinks, she will have to go to the bathroom soon. So after i fed her... i waited like 30 or so min, and then I took her outside. Outside, she gets like distracted and plays around and she doesnt use the bathroom. After 45min outside she doesnt go at alll, right when I bring her back she walks on the carpet and does her thing!! Like sometimes when i see her about to squat and do a #2 i grab her fast and take her outside. Once again outside she plays..and waits untill she is back inside so she can go bathroom?? HELP!!

We have several great posts - but in your case I would suggest a leash and following the advise given in the PUPPPY POTTY PEN. If you go to the sticky in the Training forum it will take you right to it.

If you have the leash on and DO NOT REMOVE IT until business is done - then your pup will learn. Be sure to use verbal command to reinforce behavior with praise. Be sure to use your crate whenever she comes in "un-emptied".

As for the age - this is about the right age to train so she's not "special"
