Yeah! every 3 years finally recommended
I wasn't planning on giving my ACD shots every year now that I have been doing research on vaccines and talking to people on dog forums who feel the same. But low and behold my vet shocked me to bring it up before I even got to. She told me that after this last vaccine for Cai that he won't need anything for 3 years and that I could titer him before I even would consider giving him anymore shots. I think it is great how up front my vet is and that they are doing there homework. However, they still need an annual check-up and heartworm. Now, if I can get my vets office to brush up on there nutrition skills and stop pushing Science Diet on people, YUCK!

Why do vet offices always push Science Diet? I dont understand, they even gave me a packet about it and a free 5 pound bag for my Kitten Roper.

Even if I could get my vet onboard, I can't find a boarding place that will accept anything more than one year - titers, or not! I don't think most really understand titers and aren't ready to learn either.
Same with our groomer! It's a massive example of CYA!  They're so afraid something bad is going to happen and they'll get sued for it.
