Calcified Discs..hereditary??
I just found out that the sire of my cardi has been diagnosed with having Calcified discs.
Can anyone give me more info (or send me somewhere that I can get more info) on this, how to prevent the problem from getting worse?? Does anyone know for fact if it is hereditary?? Or whether it can be influenced by diet, exercise, etc??? Thanks, Kathryn & Moxie (CWC) |

have you tried looking it up on google?? it's not something i'm familiar with but i guess google would be a good place to start.
i'd be interested to find out more about this condition myself. |

ok - this is the best site i've found so far - there's not much out there on this subject!
http://www.woodlandvet.net/html/inte...c_disease.html it looks a pretty painful disease and it depends on how fast the symptoms appeared as to how good the prognosis is. they can do surgery but there's always a risk of that not working. |
