Our dalmation has occasional problems with very runny stool generally late at night. I was wondering if an easy digesting food might help. We have fed him costco brand food for several years but thought maybe as he ages he might need a diferent food.

How old is he? Has he always been on this food and now the diarrhea is starting? If he has always been on the food I would say the runs is from something else.

Dew...what time are you feeding him? What is his age? Is the stool fairly normal looking or mucousy or blood tinged? A change of diet might help. And abdominal discomfort pr pain when you palpate the abdomen? Does he has regular movements throughout the day?
I would consult with your vet before making any changes. Could be a number of things. |
