Anyone hear of "Maddies Fund"?
So far I have very little info.
The Great Dane rescue is invited to a large "hoopla" type event. Since its in Indianapolis, Dana, Huey and I have been asked to attend. The info I have is "maddies Fund" gives grants to non for profit, no kill shelters and rescues. I hear its BIG money!! Each organization will be interviewed and money will be given out. As far as I know this was started by one man who LOVED his dog Maddy. The founder/president will be there. I will post more info when I get it. http://www.maddiesfund.org/grant/strategy.html

Wow, I had never heard of this, but these people really gave out the cash! I didn't check out everything on the site, but what a great thing to do in memory of their dog! Can't wait to hear how all of this works.
