UPDATE... ATTN all ROTTIE lovers, and dog lovers of all kinds!!
This poor dog needs HELP!!!
I can hardly believe how people can be so cruel. I got the link through the Dane rescue, if I knew her medical would be paid, I would VERY seriously consider fostering her! She is about 3 hours from me. http://www.fairhumane.org/ Last edited by dobermom; 09-30-2006 at 02:03 PM.

Dobermom----how would they be able to help this dog? They would have to operate almost all of her. How are they feeding her? We have dogs that get dumped, but never have I seen any in this condition. I bet Redyr would know of a solution if she was still here.

Honestly I dont know. I assume they have spoken with a vet that thinks they can do something. I would guess they have her on IV's
I responded to the email I got, and said I would foster if expenses are paid, and I know the extent of treatment and after care. Probably a longshot, but this one has got me.

That poor girl. I do hope she gets the help she needs. If I was closer I would take her on in a heartbeat.

Wow that's in ohio - that's horrible... my state
 . Poor dog. I bet they could operate, but they probably have to get her to a healthier weight first. At least she has many people around her that are looking after her and trying to help her get better!

I would have to say they should just ease her suffering and put her down.With all the problems she has I'm not sure they could fix all of them.
The people who did this should pay for what they did. These people are not right in the head.

Yes,whoever did this is mentally ill-but that doesn't excuse it either. How terrible for that poor girl!
