Unhappy Pete needs a home

Well, due to life in general we are moving to WA. Elma, actually. There are many reasons why but the biggest one is that my hubby is in the National Guard and with all the deployment we feel it would be better for Loren and I to live closer to family should he have to go over seas. We will be living with my aunt and uncle who are in their late 60's. They have 8 acres and are horse people so all of our horses are coming with us. My son Loren is having the hardest time of it so far. He has watched his chickens get sold off and his bed and our van and old pickup. We did get a new truck, but it is not the same to him. We also have to place his dog, Pete. Pete is dog aggressive and my aunt has 4 older dogs and does not want him to hurt them. I think it may just be a "MY HOME" territory thing, but my aunt does not want to take a chance with him attacking her old dogs.

It is such a big undertaking to move 3,000 miles but I know it is for the best. I have no family out here and if David had to leave for 2 years to go to war I would be in big trouble out here in serious snow country alone with my young son. We love it here though.
Just thought I would update you.

well, here is Pete. He needs a home. His adoption is being handled through Libby's Haven for Senior Canines
www.lhsk9.org
She is my neighbor and who I got Pete from as a puppy.
We are going to miss Pete very much.
Pest is an 80 pound lab X. He is 5 years old, kid friendly, farm animal friendly, people in general friendly, dog aggressive. He is crate trained (But has not needed to be kept in a crate for 3 tears now)
He is current on shots etc. and in New Hampshire.

Thanks

Here is Pete's mom.

She was a "Hit by car" stray and pregnant. She had a broken pelvis, broken back leg, and her tail was also broken, all had healed up without proper care. It was december and not only was it freezing cold, she was nothing but skin, bone and puppies! 2 weeks after my neighbor got her out of the pound we had to rush her in for an emergency c-section to deliver her pups. (I cared for her during the day because my neighbor who got her out of the pound works also) So, I was able to help deliver all 10 pups. out of the group 1 died. Amber Rose, the mommy dog, came in weighing in at 35 pounds. After her puppies were delivered she was only 14 pounds. Amber Rose has since been adopted out and is at a very healthy weight of 45 pounds. She is a much loved great dog.

We think she is a Shar-Pei mix

Please spread the word about Pete. I would love to see him get a home before we leave in 2 weeks. Otherwise, he will go into foster care with a bunch of other dogs and have to be kept seperate all day long.
Thanks for looking

Too bad he is dog aggressive, I'd take him. I am also too far but I will keep word out.
