Thank You for advice on traveling with new puppy

I just want to say thank you to everyone who responded when I asked for advice on traveling with a new puppy. I should have posted this before. We started out in Victoria and took her immediately on a BC Ferry. Although we were not supposed to take an animal to the main passenger area I dared anyone to tell us to return to the car when they saw her. (9 week miniature dachshund) We were the centre of attraction and were never alone for a minute. We could have sold her 100 times over. For the long drive after she did sleep most of the way and we stopped for plenty of breaks. She is now 16 weeks and just a pleasure. I see Dax you are in Edmonton - well Daisy got iniatiated to snow last weekend. We were there for a wedding and of course took her along. Lovely weather!!!! She loved the snow - red jacket and all.

Hm, Lucky on that. Kirby and I were on a trip this summer, took BC Ferry to Victoria, from there, went to Sooke. We walked about the car deck, and the car deck patrol was watching me like a hawk!
