pet store

We have a petland store right by my house and they have the cutest smallest most adorable (puppymill) puppies. I am in love with the bostons there. I want a second dog so bad. There is that cavalier at the other pet store that I can't stop thinking about and now the bostons. I play with them 3 times a week. Ones been there for a while and he is a bigger boston male down to $600 and the other is a tiny girl who is $ 1100. I won't buy from a pet store EVER but every time I play with them I want to rescue another dog. I go online ever day a few times a day looking on petfinder at all the rescue dogs up for adoption. I am obsessed. I would rescue every single one if I only lived in a house. This summer we are moving into a house and I will buy a million dogs. Sorry I am just ranting but I am seriously obsessed. Its so hard seeing all those adorable dogs and not being able to get another one. Well anyway long rant thanks for listening.....

I completely understand! lol. I use to tease myself with Pet finder for the longest time. Eventually it just got too depressing that I couldn't get another so I just quit looking.

It is depressing but I can't stop!!! I will get my boyfriend to allow me another pup (or dog) before this summer comes.... Hehe it'll just take some convincing. Its been hard: his truck got broken into and a lot of stuff got stolen and he got in two car accidents in the past few months so its getting harder to get him to agree. But I will SUCCEED!!! lol. I just fall in love with every single one and then he or she is the one i MUST have, until the next one comes along. But I get so sad when I can't have him or her.

When the time is right you will get another. I wouldn't rush it.

Salems right, dont rush into anything. The right dog will fall into your hands when the time is right. Thats how I got my big rotti x. I started to look when I moved into my new house with my now ex partner. Two days of looking and I found him at the shelter. He has been the best dog to own. Everyone loves him and wants him and cant believe that he was on death row at the shelter. But when the time is right for you, the right puppy/dog will come along.

oh thanks, another site to get obsessed about.lol. I know I will wait and I know I find the right dog, just like my Whiskey whom I found after years of wanting a small dog and he's just perfect (well to me...) I'm always happy when one of MY dogs gets adopted so I will keep obsessing until I can seriously start looking for one for me.

Have you ever considered volunteering at a shelter or a rescue?! You get to play with the dogs there too, and some of them don't get played with - at least the petstore dogs have people coming in to play with them. I mean who doesn't want to play with a puppy! Volunteering is very rewarding and you know you're helping make a difference.

I have thought about it, but I am vonlunteering at the crisis center right now and will be volunteering as a rape advocate in december which both require 40 hrs of training plus with college I don't think I have enough time along with also spending time with the pup I already own. Plus there isn't anything close by since I don't have a car right now.
