Update on Pandy's Peanut

Peanut is thriving. His hernia almost appears to be getting smaller - is it even possible? I have to ask the vet Friday when th others got for shots.
He is so cute and funny. This picture you can't even see the hernia
He is very alert and has started chewing on his siblings, for fun!
Hopefully this will continue and at a 6 weeks or more he will have surgery.

It might appear smaller as the hole hasn't grown and he has.

It is good news. Everyday he gets stronger and more likely to handle any procedure should it be necessary.

Someone has been taking good care of him and deserves a Cookie (Or cheese cake lol)

Actually depending on the type of hernia, they can actually get smaller. Such as umbilical hernias.. as the puppy grows, so does the stomach wall and muscle making the hernia smaller. They still usually need repair, but they are fine almost always.

Good to hear Peanut is doing so well!

OK the hernia is onhis side, below his ribs.
I am really confused. It is almost gone. This was not NOT even a possibility. Maybe it was a bruising, like a welt? I don't want to be too hopeful. He is feeding now. I am going to see how it is afterwards. It should be big after he eats. Pandy has been less protective of him too.
Sharons pups go for vacs today, maybe she can squeeze Peanut in as well.
OK his belly is getting full, no sign of the hernia! WTH? This is strange!
I thought he wasn't eating or something, but his belly is getting nice and round!

He is gorgeous! That is really strange about his hernia, I know nothing about them though. It sounds good that it's gone, I hope you can take him to the vet appointment today. Let us know what they say!

Can't wait to hear what the vet says. As he grows it might get small enough to not let anything to protrude. Yay!
