I thought I would post some photos from today’s Chilly Dog Walk Event. It was a benefit for Labs4Rescue, Our Domestic Animal Sanctuary, and Soul Friends.
It was put on by Soul Friends. Their website: http://www.soul-friends.org/ and Mission: Welcome to Soul Friends, Inc. We are a non-profit organization that provides both clinical Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) and Humane Education to children and adolescents. Our clinical, educational and consultation services are detailed in this site. Our Mission To provide healing, comfort and education through the benefits of incorporating a therapeutic animal as part of a treatment plan or educational program under the close supervision of a licensed professional. And, some photos – I apologize that some of them are blurry – it’s hard to get those dogs to stand still sometimes!  Jackson, the Bernese:   Clover, the Dane:  next to a Cocker:  next to Faith:

A very pretty husky, didn’t catch his name:
 The hugest lab I have ever met:  This was a sweet Golden. Her mom had her there for the walk, and TONS of people asked if she was up for adoption – her mom finally hung a sign on her “NOT available!”  A Lab/Hound mix:  there were FIVE Newfies there – they are HUGE!   Some very pretty Australian Shepherds – they were the best-behaved dogs!

We hardly ever see an event such as this in my area. I'm so glad you shared this with us! I love the Dane, the Newfies, the Lab with the "love rolls" and the Aussie looking right into the camera!!!

Great pics! Looks like a blast! I LOVE the Australian Shepherds - their coloring is so pretty! Looks like it was a beautiful day for it!
