Meet Manix UPDATE

Manix is an owner surrender due to NO fault of his own. He is a 51/2 year old blue male Doberman. He is an absolute sweetheart! His family is having a baby, and has chose to get rid of him. Manix has been around kids and has never had an issue! His best friend is a 9 month old male Pittbull who is also being rehomed.
Tonight I went to evaluate him, if he was in bad health of any kind I would have brought him hime, but I am a little hesistant bringing him here since he is not yet neutered.
After spending 30 or so minutes with him I am pretty confident he is NOT an alpha dog. I know this may sound silly, but Manix would not leave my side, it was almost like he knows he is not wanted.
The girlfriend is a Vet tech and will get him neutered before I take him. Sounds like he will be here Wednesday or Thursday. I sure didn't want another foster, but this guy is too sweet to turn my back on.

Poor guy is nearly bald, and is just a little guy, hardly bigger then Meka.

Did you punch his family in the head??? I don't know if I could have kept it civil around a family that will "throw away" a family member without even trying to make it work.

Can you imagine being these people's parents or grand parents. I guess we know were they would put us!!!

He is just a sweet mellow fellow!

The people had no emotion, I just couldn't believe it. I'm telling you poor dog knows he is not wanted.

He was gotten at a pound at 6 months by this guys friend, then the current owner took him, he stayed with the current owners parents for about a year, and now he is being dumped.

I have no doubt if I dont take him, they will again dump him at the pound.

Why do people do that?.
I was educated with the knowledge that an animal came home with us,for his entire life!!!!
I admire you,for being so patient and calm with people like that!
You're a better person than me,Lol!!
He is a pretty boy but what is wrong with his coat?or is it just the color?

Oh wow. Why is he almost bald. His coat has no shine. I'm glad your taking him. This guy needs some TLC and an owner that cares.

And she is a vet tech?!?!? That makes it even sadder...I sure wouldn't want to take my animal to the vet she works at. I hope you find him a loving forever home that he deserves He is so cute.

I am glad Manix is going to be with you to find his forever home. I hate people who have disposable pets. Once an animal is with me, it is with me for life. I mean I moved 2000ks with 2 dogs, 2 cats and 7 horses and with a baby on the way. Says a lot dont it.
