Delayed Heats

Of all the times for Sheena to take her time going into heat she chooses now. lol Sheena has only once been late and that was only by one day. Well she was scheduled to go into heat on the 27th of this month(friday). Well it is Sunday and still no signs of her going into heat. So we are now playing a waiting game. lol

I would say that it would be very unusual for anyone to have a dog that is like clockwork down to the day on their heats.

Animals cycles are easily swayed by environmental factors and dates that you expect that she should come in should not really be counted on.

You're only talking a few days this heat - I would be worried if she was a month out.
