worried about my baby

Today when I opened the door from outside our condo I went in and I thought Bella was already in, but she wasn't I looked down and the door which is a heavy spring door was closing on her. I opened it real fast and got her in. She seemed ok. I felt her all over and she didn't hurt anywhere but later she thru up but I think that was from something she probably ate from outside. She was playing but I thought I better put her in her crate to rest. I have been so worried I started crying. If anything happens to her where I think it was my fault I couldn't forgive myself.
I just wanted to know if anyone out there has had a incident similar to this.

It doesn't sound to me like there is anythign wrong with the dog... I think you would know if the dog is injured... A dog of any breed, size, or build would react to pain. If the door closed on her at all, I'm sure the dog would have at least flinched. You would have likely heard a yip, or cry, or seen an otherwise jerky movement. Our back spring door closes on Kirby periodically. If he feels it coming, he will usually jump in really quickly.

As DM said, just keep an eye on her; she should be okay, it was probably something she ate, keep us posted; hope everything settles down with her.

What did she throw up? Foam and salvia? Any blood? Has she been eating & drinking normally.
