Hi. I was just wondering should I feed my dog Pediolyte? Our vet said nothing about that all he said was gotorade. he didnt say what to feed her and what not too but she has been eating little bites of turkey all day long and I gave ehr a lil water. She threw up but it was only a little bitty bit. It looked like the water I gave her. She has been getting up and down today I'm happy shes eating. I have to by some broth tho. And baby food too. Shes asleep most of the time too. Anyways our vet wouldnt let her stay on IV's all night...he said she should go home. This morning she had diearreah but hasnt had it anymore since we got home. Only thing bad she did today was throw up. I think her stomach isnt ready for water yet or somethng. Well I'ma go give her more gatorade. !!Erin!!

I think Pedialyte should be okay. They gatorade is to replace electrolytes to prevent dehydration.... sometimes water isn;t enough. Pedialyte does the same thing, only it is made for children. You could always give your vet a call, I'm sure they will tell you over the phone what they think good luck, I hope your girl gets better soon
