Hey Karen,
I just came across this petfinder post. It's by the lady at Hancock Cty Pound in Carthage,IL that I had mentioned in my email for other groups to help. I wonder which groups in the Chicago area take animals for her.

Post subject: Transport help needed in central IL SAVE LIVES!!!http://forums.petfinder.com/template...icon_quote.gif I rescue dogs from animal control and they only have days to live. I have great rescues in the Chicago area that will take them. I am on the IA and MO border, on the western part of IL in Hamilton, IL. I have a very small group that helps me and we are moving about 10-15 dogs a week north. Every week we have the same problem, finding someone in the middle part of the state to help us transport them to the Peru or Bloomington area. We can get them to either Galesburg, Canton, Springfield and need someone to help get them a couple of hours further on their journey. Please, if you can help..these dogs lives depend on being transported. Just a couple of hours of your time will give them the gift of life....help us get them to safety..You don't have to adopt one to save one......PLEASE!!!!!! my email is sadeghi@mchsi.com
