Angry humans suck

You know, I have so much fun doing some part of rescue work, but at the same time I swear there are people I want to hit in the head with a hammer!

Remember our Octoberfest where we got all excited because so many dogs were placed?

Yeah, well…

The police officer who wanted a dog never followed up and submitted an application so the dog he “loved so much, I can’t wait to get him home!” is still waiting for his forever home.

The woman who was gaga over Foxy, the Faith look a like, called the next day when we were trying to arrange the home visit to say “I just checked her petfinder ad and I didn’t realize that she wasn’t a pure-bred. I can’t see paying $350 for a dog that is a mix.” Ok, um, you stupid ****! You MET the dog IN PERSON and loved her! *** does it matter that she’s a mix? Nevermind that the $350 covers her spay surgery and all her shots for the 1st year!

Oh, and Chance? The big goofy yellow? The people only kept him 15 hours – are you ready? Because “he won’t stay out of the good living room.” 15 hours and they expect him to completely understand his new boundaries.

Gggaaahhhh! People are SO stupid!

Oh, I am so sorry for those pups. How arrogant people are! We are still learning about Charlie and we have had him for 5 weeks! Those people with the good living room-ever hear of a gate?

Welcome to the bad part of rescue. People are IDIOTS!!! Try not to take it personal, and just keep doing what your doing, the dogs appreciate you!

IMO, the people who returned the dog after 15 hours, and the person who decided against the "mutt" dont deserve them anyway! You will find them better homes!

When I was more involved in rescue, I found quite a few morons wanted a dog for a decoration or status symbol...it never occurred to them that dogs are a real life entity with their own personality, quirks & instincts! However, Sararee & Dobermom are right! The good homes you find make up for all the dumb-***** out there! Keep the faith, Faith (sorry, couldn't help it)!

The older I get, I find it more & more difficult to understand the human breed! I guess that's why I love animals so much!

oh, i know it's worth it in the end - so many do get good homes. i've just realized i'd rather deal with dogs than humans any day!

and, good news on Foxy - she had another application from an older retired woman so that one is working out for the best.

We had one genious who wanted a dog to protect his large outdoor property... in a woodsey area. "Do I have to feed him all the time?... or can he live off of the wild animals?"

You can't make this stuff up....
