Exclamation Georgie has lumps under her skin *pics added*!

So last night, I noticed a raised area on Georgie's left side about the size of a peanut (the nut part without the shell). I felt it last night and it was soft.. I thought maybe her fur had just gotten dirty there and she had a cowlick or something. But this morning there is another lump on her right side just behind her should blade that is about 3 times the size of the other one. Today, both of them are firm and they don't seem to cause her pain when I mess with them. My camera battery is charging right now... I will take a picture when it's finished charging.

Do you think I should just watch them for a while? And see what happens?

I don't want to just take her to the vet for every little thing... and it seems like I take her to the vet all the time...if it's not coccidia, it's mange, if its not mange, it's a sore between her toes, or it's recurring diarrhea, or I've accidentally locked her in the car, or her behavior issues. Sheesh, her vet bills are really piling up. Don't get me wrong, I don't resent paying the bills... and I'm willing to do pretty much whatever it takes to make sure she's healthy. I just don't want to freak out over every little thing.

I would mark them with a felt pen (non toxic of course) and see if they change over a week or so.

I have found bumps just about every where on all three dogs. Some go away on thier own. For ones that grow, I make an appointment. For ones that don't change, I write it on a list so I don't forget to ask the vet during thier next visit.

I would watch them for a bit to see if they go away, my two are always scraping eachother and will often times get a bump or two, but they generally go away.

if they get bigger, make an appt. i hope they go away and that they are only some knuckle bumps.

I'd personally watch them a bit longer, but if they change in shape or start to weep clear fluid or blood, the take her in.

I'm sorry the pics aren't so good... I tried to draw a circle around the edge of each lump... so the darkened places are the lumps

This is the largest one on her right side just behind her shoulder blade

And this is the smaller one on her left side over her rib cage

The one looks discolored (blue/black?) Is it possible that it's a blood blister from an injury? Put a ruler up to it and take another picture. Day after tomorrow - do the same. If it is growing, I would go see the vet.

Could be a Lipoma. I hope I have your permission to expand on lumps and bumps in another thread. They can be Lipomas or Lymphoma. Not really sure but I hope that you visit the thread and can, with the hlp of your vet, narrow down the possibilities.
