Glass Vs Vinnie

Where do I start? I have had this big picture hanging in my bathroom for the whole 6yrs I have lived here. Well sometime in the night, somehow, it appearantly fell. I actually took my stupid meds lastnight and slept! (I won't take them again) I woke to Vinnie having blood on him....
I noticed there was blood on me and my bed. Niavely I checked to be sure it wasn't me. I wish it were. Vinnie had a gash on the inside of his hind leg, one on his tail and another on the back of his front leg. He looks terrible, since he is white. He is acting just fine tho. He ate, is playing and even bounced around outside like he does every morning. I am taking him to the vet this afternoon-this is a nonemergency since he is no longer bleeding and he is acting normal. I am sure they will tell me to keep it clean and apply neosporine or something but poor Vinnie!

Wow... that is lucky. It could be so much worse. Even cuts on the pads of their feet would be slow to heal.

Extra big kisses for the walking wounded.

Well, now the truth comes out! Isn't it always Kody??
Kody knocked the picture down and 'forgot' to pick it up.

Poor Vinnie, lucky he didn't sever anything important! Poor little guy. Hey, are you sure Kody did it? Poor Kody, getting the bad rap, I'm sure he's innocent. Could have been an earthquake!

Umm Kody admitted it. Also, he didn't even think of the earthquake excuse.
So, one of his Christmas gifts goes back-so he can pay the vet bill today.
Boy he really wanted that ipod!

Man, what a meany, did he say it was an accident, or was he bouncing off the walls?

Sorry it took a bit, we were at the vet for quite a bit. Then ran to get shots for everyone (I'm doing themmyelf for the first time). Then had to go take the comforter (Vinnie bled on) to the big washer at the laundrymat. Then it was my brother's b-day so we had to go to my folks for cake.
Finally we are hom, without Vinnie tho. Vinnie needed stitches, which meant they had to put him under. He came through just fine. I'll pick him up tomorrow at 1pm. Poor Vinnie he must be scared all alone. They have round the clock care there so he won't be really alone.
It was an accident in that Kody accidently bumped the picture and it fell and broke...but not cleaning it or telling me so I could wasn't an accident. YES I made him pay for it, which it is more than the ipod by atleast $100.
It might sound mean but that's how I do things around here. If he had no consequence that really made him feel it, these things will continue to happen. RESPONSIBILITY that's what he has to learn now or he'll be a terrible adult. So, I may be the Meany Patrol Sheriff but I am also a 'meany' when I have to be. This is one of those times.
Also, my kid is spoiled with tech toys so one ipod isn't going to make him deprived.
