Need help with Bogey tonight - vomiting

Bogey has thrown up 3 times in the last two hours. I have no idea why. Probably something he ate outside. Is there anything over the counter I can give him tonight?

Deb - because of his history, maybe check with the ER vet before giving him anything. Especially if he is still on any meds.

I called er vet. They said to try 10 mg of Pepcid AC, which strangely I have in the house. I just gave about 1/2 hour ago and so far so good. Unfortunately, he's going to have to sleep in his crate tonight. He's hit the carpeting all three times . But, we moved his crate next to our bed so I can hear if he gets sick again.

Thanks for the help! Why is it this stuff always happens late at night or on the weekends??

Yes! Seemed to stop it in its tracks! Also, I temporarily switched him to brown rice and boiled chicken. That always helps, too. But, the Pepcid AC seems to work right away!

Deb's, I'm glad it seems to have calmed down. I would try the boiled chicken with rice and, if that fails, then try a 24 hr fast to give the gut some time to rest...then bland diet. Sorry to here of the troubles.
