STOP BUYING MASS PRODUCED PROCESSED DOG FOOD. IT'S NOT WHAT YOUR DOG EVOLVED TO EAT.

Your dogs physiology is exactly the same as a wolf, and wolves can't cook or use tin openers.

Go to {removed by moderator} and buy the books, your dog will be healthier and happier for the whole of it's life if it ate the right diet. Just like you would. . . .

Uncle.. we don't shout on this forum. Using all CAPS is considered shouting and shows VERY poor net etiquette!

Thanks!

This IS true for anyone who didn't know domestic dogs are descended from wolves.

My dog's breed evolved to eat leaves, greens, tree barks, etc. (Coming from the jungles of Madagscar). Not quite the same as a wolf, and not quite what I'm willing to feed my dog as it provide appropriate nutrients.

Moo,

Have a look at your dogs teeth, then put 'molars' and 'inscisors' into your search engine. Have a good look round, see what the different types of teeth are for. Your dog has one stomach, herbivores (ruminants) have several stomachs because veg is difficult to digest. Look into it, you'll learn some fascinating facts about your dog.

Dogs EVOLVED from wolves, they are not wolves. They have become dependent on humans and their nutritionally requirements are different, as their exercise level and "Stress" level are different. Dog foods are formulated to provide your dog with a helthful, balanced diet. Sometimes supplements are needed if a dog has a certain diseases or disorderes, but most of the time a good quality, "mass produced" dog food contains everything your dogs needs nutritionally. Anyone who is not versed in the exact nutritional needs of dogs and not versed in the nutritional content/value of all foods really should not be feeding a "raw" diet. More harm from good comes from such a thing.

I am quite happy with my animals health, I don't need to change their diet, I also don't need an education on what's best for them all of a sudden out of the blue on a thread asking about how long to feed puppy food.

Maybe a new thread for this topic? DONE!!
