I've heard that if a dog eats grass its because he/she is wanting to throwup because he/she has an upset tummy. Question is, what can you give the dog to settle its stomach down? I've seen lots of dogs eat grass and then throwup shortly after. Is it a big deal or just an average dog act? Its pretty gross....so I was wondering if there was something you could do to correct the problem.

Yea thats what I was wondering. I know most dogs eat grass but was worried because I dont think all dogs throw up after eating it unless there tummies are upset. |

My golden eats grass like a cow. I asked the vet about it, he said, some dogs just like the taste. Go figure, huh? <lol>

I've heard Pumpkin is good for upset tummies as well as a bit of Pepto Bismal. My Emma eats grass from time to time but never throws up. Dak has nothing to do with it.

Maia eats grass almost every time I take her out. And it must be one special kind because she always goes to the same place in the yard. But she's never thrown up (at least not yet.) Kathy and Maia
