It could be a nasal infection or a cold. Yes it is best to see the vet.

if its a young pup or an old one could be pnumonia or if a pup could be ditemper there are so many reasons some urgent others not I would take caution and have the dog seen any vet will take you in and it doesnt matter they dont have a vet....

It could be something else...

A runny nose doesn't usually mean your dog has a cold, but it could
mean a host of other serious illnesses like respiratory infection,
sinus infection, tooth abscess, or cancer. Runny eyes could
mean conjunctivitis (inflammation of the eye) or infection.

Green is never a good color. I'd suggest you visit a vet very soon. Since
I am a proponent of "natural" and fairly knowledgeable about dogs I would
suggest you locate a good holistic vet. Generally a holistic vet won't be
out to make a lot of money or have significant overhead to pay for in
the form of equipment and assistants and/or the desire to make as much
money as possible from every client.

Additionally, holistic vets don't try to overwhelm your dog with chemical
medications.

Whatever you do, do it quickly because your dog can't tell you what's
hurting him and this could be a serious issue.

Good luck and if you are so inclined please let me know how your pooch
fared with this issue.

I can't put a dollar figure on the visit, I'm not a vet. But green anything isn't something to mess around with.

Good luck and I hope you can get the pup to a vet real soon.

some vets will offer payment options for you in that case.... calling doesnt cost a thing to ask them.

I dont think anyone was being snappy, they all gave you sound advice. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you and your dog does need to see a vet as soon as you can get the money to take it in. Sorry we couldnt be of more assistance, but its extremely hard to diagnose something over the internet.

I would think it is kennel cough. Poor Yaya when she got her ears cropped had a reaction from the vaccine. She was miserable. Not only did she have stitches up her ears, but a green snotty nose and mucky eyes. She was so sick. I think they put her on Amoxy (about 14 dollars) my vet charges 35 for a visit. Hope that helps.
