bit bite

well we was having a GRATE time doing bit of recall and then we walked round the feild and he was off lead with other dogs his 2 little friends a ckc and another llhasa then a gsd cross collie looked like a big old teddy bear.

the dog then ran up to tedddy and the other dogs then graped teddy down the back and atempted to rag him i scruffed the dog and pulled him and the owner pulled his coller and he droped teddy teddy yelped really badly when i pick him up due to his coat i coulnt looks to c any puncture wounds but once i got him home he did manage to walk home ok well he was trying to run bless him, he has got a cut down his back about 1inch long and a tooth scrape / brusie under his arm pit, he dose seem sore when i pick him up and when i try to move him when i touch is side, iv driend him off with hair dryer a bit as he was soaked and iv put a bit of salt water on both bits im about to try to stand him to cheek his other side and i will post a pick asap.

dose he need to go to the vets now or should i wait and c how he is , the pain down his side is that lickly to be just bruiseing ?

can i give him any thing to help

and what do i feed him he didnt have brecky as we was running late as i stayed up to watch pritty woman last night and was gonna have it after his walk, will he need any thing diffrent for his tea or should i not give him any thing today but he only ate one chicken wing yesterday

well any advise given would be grate

the cut on his back dosnt seem deep its did bleed but its stoped now

xxxxxx

My advice is to be safe than sorry. Get him to a vet so see if there are other damages. From the sounds of it...it all seems supercial butI would diefinately have it checked out.
So sorry about your pup. That ust have so hard to see.

Dog bites can easily become infected. I would clean the area thoroughly and apply antibotic. I would go ahead and feed him like normal. Make sure he has plenty of fresh water available. I would watch the wounds very closely for any redness or other signs that are becoming infected. I would also watch for signs of fever and/or shock.

If he still acts very sore in the morning, I would go immediately to a vet. 0r if fever, swelling, vomiting, or blood in stool no matter how minor.

He is your dog, you are the best judge if he's bruised or something more serious.
