Chiropractor Anyone?

I highly recommend them! My puppy (6.5 months old) would tense up everytime we would scratch his shoulders for a while there...I thought maybe he had itchy/dry skin because you would catch him scratching but i made him an appoitment with an equine/dog/cat chiropractor and his two vertebrae's were out (he said from playing/jumping, anything could have done it).

Totally fixed his little issue! I just thought i would see how many, or if any of you have used a chiro for your doggies...esp. for our senior furry friends!

I've heard of it, never tried it tho. We've never had the need but if it arose I wouldn't hesitate. I've heard great things about it.
I'm glad your puppy got some releif!

My agility trainer highly recommends this kind of treatment. Her Bernese competes in, among other things, long weave pole events. My trainer can tell by how she approaches the weave wether or not the dog needs a treatment to help with her alignment.

My husband is a Chiropractor. He treats our dogs all the time, even though he is not a vet Chiropractor. He can feel when they are out of alignment and uses torque release instruments to adjust them since animals squirm too much for manual adjustments. They are as good as new afterwards, and sometimes they are so relaxed they fall asleep. I usually fall asleep after my adjustments too because I'm so relaxed and I feel so good.
