Dog wars.. little problem

Like I said.. 28 entries max poll is 25.

Options

a) have two polls one for under 50 or 60 lbs one over
b) by breed but to be fair owners could then vote for thier own breed
c) anyone want to remove their posts - need 3 volunteers

My preference is for (a) This is fair to everyone but members could vote for two dogs one large -one small. Otherwise dogs that are a breed apart only get a post. There are several for labs, dobbies, rescue, etc. This way owners can vote for thier breed but not thier posts

By breed. (Except there sure are alot of lab owners) Yes, by breed.

Since the questions is really : Who did the best job of persuading you to own their dog... it would make sense... It's also more respectable to say "Yes, I want a Rescue dog now" As opposed to "Yes, I want a Dax now" LOL

I was gonna say have two.. but I like by breed.. Maybe, for those breeds that have become insanely overpopulated.. haven't you lab owners ever heard of spay/neuter .. two per breed with no one voting for their own breed.

Then you have a problem of which two to group by breed... but yes, that is a good idea. If you draw partners at random, hopefully breeds in common will all be sport enough to share the glory.

Hee, hee, maybe I'll just stop at 999 to leave Rip hanging...

If the poll is about which breed of dog you would next want to own, and you'd want to own another of the breed you CURRENTLY own, shouldn't you be able to vote for the breed of your current dog?

I think I'm going to have the poll split - no groupings. Members will be on the honor system to limit thier votes and can't vote for their own post. It is the only fair system as a lot of work has gone into these. But it's good to know for the next time.

So... split the polls, everyone for their own, but we're still only allowed one vote between the two? That makes sense... if you have the poll show names, then you won't have to worry about double voting or voting for themselves. :P

(There you go, Rip. #1000)

Notice the Lab owners only posted one entry per member!!! ummmmm. lol.

Lot of Lab owners...4 to be correct.

So that is out of 27 or whatever entries cause I haven't checked them all in the last hour or so.

How many German Breed entries?

You lot are always complaining about us Labs...Told you we are a friendly lot, always loyal and caring. I dunno.
Next time Ellie does the rules. Yippee.
