Might be getting a foster dog today :)

Sunny was part of a transport of dogs coming up from Virginia, she had a home worked out but it fell through, so she has been sitting at the shelter for a few days, not adjusting at all, so I'm going to try to giver her a chance.

I don't have much background on here at all, except her first family bought her from a petstore, she is supposedly a purebred Corgi (although my friend who runs the shelter says she is NOT) and she's a little older, 6 or 7 ish. I don't know why they gave her up (new puppy for Christmas? No getting along possibly?)

So I am going to go meet her, and see if she can adapt to the gang.

I will keep everyone posted.

Aw...that's so great of you!!! Hope it works out, even if it's a short term situation until she gets a forever home.

Awesome!! Keep us posted, I can't wait for pic. I fostered an ACD/Corgi mix once, fun dog! Would be neat to see what this Corgi is possibly mixed with.

Ok, so she is NOT a Corgi, any guesses? Sunny was shy at the shelter, obviously overwhelmed by the shelter noise, but once at my house I brought her into the backyard (fenced) and let her off leash to mingle w/ the other dogs. She was a little bit scared, but is doing ok. She is terrified of the dishwasher and linoleum floor, so for now she won't go into the kitchen, that's ok. I am a little bit worried about her not being housebroken, this obviously hurts her chances of finding a home, but I think with a little bit of crate time and settleing in she will figure stuff out. She has no "real"
obedience, but comes as soon as she is called, without a second thought.

Oh I wish I knew more about her background!

I will try to snap a pic of her next to Haunter or Willow tomorrow in the light so you can try to compare sizes.

I wonder if she is part GSD, I'm not sure how that would work (that breeding came with instructions!) but that's sort of what she looks like. She has settled in, eaten some food and is now sleeping in my room in a crate without other dogs near her, she is exhusted.
