3 dogs almost put to sleep

I just had to post this. Ok so this morning I had some errands to run on post so I thought I would stop by the stray facility and see if (not gonna mention names) needed any help with walking, feeding, or just playing with any of the strays. As I was there he recieved a phone call that 3 of the dogs there needed to be put down because they were over full and they had been there to long. My husband is gonna be a little bewildered but in my heart I just could not let that happen. Of course one is a dobie mix (Zena), one is a rot (Sarge) and the other is a pit (precious). I am not gonna lie they do need some work on house manners, living in a pack and things like that but I got all 3 of them until I can find them a forever home. Am I crazy for doing this considering I have 3 dogs already and 3 children? I get to pick them up tomorrow as they need to stay to be spayed and neutured. Honestly I just wouldn't of been able to sleep tonight if I would have left that place knowing what their fate was going to be.

NO there is nothing wrong with you, thank you for being so kind and caring. People produce all these animals without thought and they are the ones to suffer. Good luck and bless you.

Thats awsome there is nothing wrong with it at all. i wouldnt be able to sleep either if I left knowing that they were going to be eating their last eal that night.

Bless your heart! I wouldn't have left without knowing they would be ok either. Maybe you could put them on Petfinder and find them homes.

Thank all of you for your blessings and encouraging words. They are just so cute and I love dogs anyways so it works out for everyone. Oh yeah stopped by and told my husband he totally understands why I did what I did. The only bad part is after working with them and spending some time with them I might get to attached and not want them to leave. We will just have to wait and see.
