Question pitbull pups in need of suitable homes

Here in about 4 weeks I will be recieving aprox. 8 pitbull pups in need of rescue and adoption. I am knew at this and in need of advice from those who have experienced adopting out rescue animals. Due to the stigma that goes with this breed my concern ofcourse is that they all go to reputibke people who are not going to raise these pups to fight or use them as bait animals. How do I narrow out all of the awful people that might want these pups for all of the wrong reasons.

At our shelter we have them fill out a very detailed application. We then call their vet, references, talk to everybody that lives in the home. You could even have them give you so much money and wait until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered before they leave or tell them they won't get their deposit back until you receive a paper from their vet that they have been fixed.
