Congratulations, finally, hope mum is well. I have been flat out with my pups, havent been online much. Your weak pup! I have seen it many times, I guess you can try to bottle feed, but I don't hold out much hope, sounds like fading puppy syndrome, although that normally occurs at 2-3 days old. could be stressed from the birthing, but if it wont suckle on the teat, it probably wont bottle feed either, normally you struggle for days with a pup that ends up with milk coming out its nose, mum doesn't bother with it, you continually go in and put the pup up near mum, only to find it half hour later alone in the box getting cold. Get a bottle and milk from the vets, give it a go for a day, if it doesn't suckle, well, not much you can do, if the milk comes out it's nose you are getting it on its lungs and it will die anyway. we have also tube fed, but the pups were very valuable to us, depends on your time, etc. let me know.
P.S. don't squeeze the bottle, the pup has to suckle it or it's straight on the lungs.

I felt bad 4 her 2 all those babys she was wiped out! She won't leave them though it's hard 2 even get her 2 go 2 go 2 the pottie. She looks so skinny! She was so huge and it seems funny seeing her now without that belly. Oh well I guess I am gonna try 2 get her out 2 pee so I can clean the papers up and stuff! Thanks again 4 all the help! You have been great!

Gosh, wait till yours are weaning, I am so flat out, 8 puppies all crying for food, pooping everywhere, wanting to play. Help!!! Sorry about the little one, sometimes thats just the way it goes, Sophie had one last litter, when the bag split all this brown stuff, sort of flecky was all over pup, I tried to clear its lungs but this stuff kept comming out its mouth and nose, tried cpr on it, but it died, havent a clue what the brown stuff was.
Your mum, feed her up, give glucose in warm milk, (half milk, half hot water). She needs calcium supplement every day she is feeding. I make a big pot of stew for mine, (meat, veg, gravy, potatoes) plus her normal feed, you cannot overfeed her while she is nursing. If she is looking for food, give it to her.
Normally they won't leave the pups for the first few days, you will have to make her come out, soon enough though, appx. 10 days she will stay away from them for short periods, this is normal, don't worry if she isnt with them day and night, she will know when to feed them. If you need any help at weaning (3 weeks) just ask.
I will pm you with my email, sometimes I'm not on the forum, but check my emails everyday.
