Meet Summer

This is Summer, the girl that I noticed at the adoption event at my work. I couldn't leave her there like that so on Friday, we're picking her up from the shelter and transporting her to GSROC.

Say "hello" to Summer.

Summer was passed over again and again at the animal shelter where she had landed in her golden years. Other rescue groups didn't choose to help Summer, but one of our dedicated volunteers who had looked into her sad brown eyes begged us to rescue her.

When you look at Summer, you can see that she is a dog with good breeding. She was no doubt someone's darling puppy at one time and showered with affection, but now she is looking for someone to love. We don't know Summer's past, but we know that we can make a beautiful future for her with your help.
Please don't overlook this noble girl. She deserves to have happiness and a warm place to curl up. To arrange to meet Summer, please complete the online application first and then contact Johnandebhancock@aol.com for more details.

What a sweet older girl, heart of a saint no doubt!

I know what it is to have an older dog though... I have sunny, a Corgi mix right now, and she has had one family come look at her, but they wanted a younger dog

She is a shepherd. She was shaved, so you can't really get a look at her coat, but in person you can see what once was a classic shepherd saddle. She also is way too big to be a mal. Good sized girl. We pick her up tomorow to be transported.
