Update on the boxer I posted about

Well,

My friend who had the sick boxer's asperation came back. He has lymphoma. It is horrible. He is losing weight so the vet has said really 6 months at the most. It is a horrible experiance. His brother is nearing his Championship, his sister was going to be bred on her next heat ( she does not own these dogs) I don't htink that will be taking place now, The breeder is very upset.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Maybe not breeding them will save some other owner from that heart break.

Big hugs to your friend..

Poor thing....is the breeder refunding money for your friend or possible giving her another puppy? is lymphoma hereditary?

Sorry to hear about what your friend is going through . Even though the breeder is upset, at least they are looking out for the breed (which is very refreshing to hear).

OH my heart goes out to your friend. My neighbors just lost their boxer to cancer too, it was heartbreaking.

That is very sad - I am sorry for your friend.

Six months is a very good prognosis I believe for lymphoma.

I dunno, 6 months doesn't seem long when it is a friend..lol. But the vet said at most. With him not gaining weight ( he has really not been wanting to eat since yesterday) I am afraid it won't be that long.

I am so very sorry to hear this. It seems like I am hearing so much about this in dogs lately.
