joy has a hernia

Yesterday i found a lump on her lower adomen, It pushed back in. I was very gentle and she didn't cry. My vet is going to fix the hernia and Joy at the same time. This couldn't have happened at a worse time for us.

She is fine we haven't gone for the surgery yet, with my dad's funeral and all. My vet Jen said as long as she is not in pain and the hernia easily goes back in it can wait a few days. Joy is in heat almost finished so we are trying to wait to make it safer for her for the surgery. and since she is in heat she has been crated which helps her not to stress the hernia.
But I need doggie valium for the boys and me so i don't choke them lol

So sorry about Joy I'm sure she will be just fine after her operation. Take care of yourself, it sounds as if you have had some very stressful things in your life lately.
