Honey is being adopted..

As hard as it is for me to let her go, she attacked a puppy (I guess) again today... They keep escaping. That puppy is at the vet for the night and she is going to live. It was Indie again, i know i know, i thought it wouldnt happen agian. And it did.. That was all I can take and poor Honey is back at the pound tonight, until Wensday.. The man who adopted Jack is going to adopt Honey to.. She was never aggresive with Jack, or any others besides these puppies so im sure it will go good and atleast she will know Jack. So thats my story and im gonna miss her more than words can explain, but my puppies mean something to me to. So thats it. I got a foster for Indie and Peter in the same home, she is going to keep them inside and give Indie her pills everyday and im gonna keep Mickey and Hayden and they will be safe now. The lady who is taking the other 2 is for sure going to adopt one, but she may end up adopting 2.. i hope! Please dont chew me out i was praying it wasnt honey, but there is no other excuse..

That is really sad to hear but I am glad you caught the culprit before something else bad happened. Noone on her hould bash you for this becaue you only did what you had to do to prevent furthur injury. Good luck Southern and let usknow how it all goes.

You have done alot of good for each dog/puppy you have fostered from that pound. And the work you do for them at the pound and for the new facility. You do alot of good. No one should bash you at all. You never knew for sure it was Honey, now you know and you have more than righted the situation. I applaud you, I know this is hard but most of the valuable lessons in life are hard on us. Hang in there!

It sounds like Honey is going to a good home. Hopefully her owners will have more time to watch her - it could have been a jealousy thing (that was the first thing that crossed my mind - especially since you spend quite a bit of time with the puppies you foster, not a bad thing at all to do though as it helps quite a bit with socialization). I don't think any of us will judge you, we all know this was a rough decision for you.

Oh SG I am so sorry. You are doing what is best for Honey and the rest of the pups and all the rest of the pups you will foster in the future. Its never easy to admit something like that and I am very proud of you. I am sure Honeys new home will give her what she needs and it is great that you have found a home for her. Please can you get updates on how she is doing once she is there to share with us all. I am so sorry you are having to go through this.

And the people who know you and care for you will support you through this, anyone who verbally bashes you for it isnt worth worrying about. You are looking at a bigger picture, not many people can do that.

Indie was doing fine today and went to her new foster home, along with peter. Hayden and Mickey are with me and Honey is going to her new home tommorow. Thank god!

Was Honey a dog you were keeping?

If I ever get to the point my dogs are attacking and hurting fosters I will have to quit fostering.
My dogs come first, and I would not rehome one of my dogs. I realize I put mu dogs through alot of stress and expect alot from them.
