Just Signed up for Fostering

I'm so excited. I've just signed up for fostering with the Chihuahua Rescue and the Papillon Rescue! I have to do small dogs due to Bosley, he's my boy and I want to protect him from accidents with bigger dogs. Can't wait. Will let you know how things are progressing!

That's wonderful... I'm sure you'll do wonderfully. It might be hard seeing the "unloved" and harder to see them go to forever homes.

Probably will be hard. But I think I have a good handle on it. I think of it has a loving hand in helping them reach their forever home. What a thrill to know you have helped an animal obtain a good home where they will be well treated and loved. Best of all I plan to do home visit, hopefully two, one scheduled and one surprise! I have high standards....

That's really what I would be scared of.Getting attached and not being able to let go.
