My golden is constipated,need help ASAP,please!!
My golden is constipated and can't go to the bathroom,she is extremely uncomfortable.I need help.please,thank-you.L

I can't be of any help. I've never had that problem with a dog! Sorry, hopefully someone here will be able to help.

might want to be safe and make sure she doesnt have a blockage? Id be afraid to advise anything on this problekm as we dont know cause or whats going on inside..... sorry

I have a toy poodle,Sissy and a 15 year old Keysha,they get constipated,and I give them a syringe,needle taken out of course,of mineral oil,and the vet told me to give a tsp,leveled in her food once a day of metamusil,in orange flavor,mixed with canned food. Sissy has been getting this for a month now,and has really helped.I would take her to the vet to,to make sure there is no other problem,she may be having!

Like Salem's Mom said, oil can help... Also try some canned pumpkin and see if that helps things along!

How much pumpkin,can I give her.
She weighs 65 pds.I don't think she has obstruction but I suppose you never know.I will wait 24 hrs and then take her to the vet. I gave her some merrow bone,yesterday,wonder if that could have done it. Dobie ,sorry about Meka. Thanks to all of you.L I Also heard that Karo molasse,will help or Apple pie.
