need help to feed priska cos she is not eating.

What do you think of **** van Patten's natural balance, beef formula. It's the only thing,Priska is willing to eat,at this point.I also give her pumpkin puree to help her with bowel movement.
Do any of you,use it and what do you think,of it.
Priska will not eat her food so you can hear her stomack blubling.

natural balance is my number 2 food. I use it as a backup to my preferred food and also use their rolls as treats for my dogs. I like the food and it works well for my sensitive girl.

I get my crew the Turkey roll, Natural Balance. It is GREAT!
I've heard it can be used as a full feed or treat or mixed with kibble.
Alot of folkd I know swear by it
Have you tried boiled chicken and rice? Or hamburger and rice?
My mom makes my kids (furkind and human lol) venison and rice sometimes.
They love anything that isn't 'thier food' when they don't want to eat.

You can add canned tripe to food. Or if you can find it buy some green tripe (frozen chunks). It is an appetite stimulant and dogs love it. Stinks to high heaven but they love it.

A teaspoon of grated cheese on top of her food might encourage her to eat. When Ariel feels "yucky" and has the tummy grumbles, I find that once she starts eating a little she feels better and will eat more. A little boiled chicken to get her interested in food might be an idea.

For constipation, I give boiled chicken skin. It always seems to work on my crew.

I think you are right on the rice, not sure tho. I've never had to deal with constipation but when the boys were nuetered and had problems they didn't want to eat so we cooked for everyone. (Didn't want the girls left out) Also when Pandy was a pup she had a hard time gaining weight.
The tripe sounds liek a plan, I wrote it down along with teh chicken skin!

Don't give any kind of cheese,it binds them more,I always boil a egg to get them to eat,or like someone else said, boiled chicken, and broth.Rice will bind, its good for the ones that have been sick, and won't eat, onlyif they have not had a problem with constipation!Any kind of starsh will constipate.

She also seems to be willing to eat fresh, ground meat.
How much can i give her?
I was making a meatloaf so I gave her, some, before i started and she ate it.This is the only thing she'll it.She won't touch her kibble.

You can also scramble some eggs, with a low content of oil,mix in with some kind of dog canned food, and minerals if you have any!I hope she gets feeling better soon.
