There is blood in my puppy's urine...

Hey all, Im new to the forums

I have a 4 month old Bichon Frise, male dog. Today, when he was urinating, there was blood in his urine, and quite a bit too. I hav never really owned a dog before, so im just shocked :|

What could be the problem? Any help in appreciated!

Thanks!

Here's a pic of the puppy, just for the heck of it!

Blood in urine could be many things. All need to be diagnosed by a vet.

Sneak up behind him next time he pees and catch some pee in a cup. Take it to the vet with you.

He's sure a cutie!!!

He ia a cutie, he needs to go to the vet right away and if you can catch some urine that would be helpful for the vet.

He's adorable and welcome to the forum. I agree that a Vet's advice is in order. You should try to grab a sample to help in the diagnosis.

Again, welcome and please keep us posted.

Did you get him to a vet? There are many things it could be, but all are potentially dangerous. Give us an update!
