BosleySlave Medical Updates

Well, she is officially spayed!

I dropped her off at the vet this morning at 8:30am & they told me they would call me between 1 and 2 pm to let me know how things went & when to pick her up. Well, 2 pm rolled around & I still hadn't heard from them so I called. All went well (nice of them to actually call me & tell me that so I wouldn't worry or anything...BTW, sarcastic tone was used) & I could pick her up at 4:30pm.

I was there, early of course, & she was still dopey. According to the vet's advice, at about 6 pm, I gave her some water & she held it down. At 7 pm, I gave her a few kibbles, & she's held it down. So far, so good.

I talked to mom (BosleySlave) & she's in eastern Washington, waiting for Bosley's appointment. She's alone with Bos & she's not hanging tough very well, so if you guys can send some positive vibes her way, I would be very thankful! His appointment is at noon on Monday.

Anyways, I've already had a couple of cocktails this evening & having a tough time typing so I think I'm going to go have some more! I deserve them! I think I'm gonna call mom & suggest she do the same! LOL!

Kim my vet did the same thing. I worried all day long and eventually I had to call them. Glad she's done though and doing well.

I'll keep your mom & Bosley in my thoughts. Don't drink too much..

Oh, so happy for you! Way to go Molly and good job mom for staying strong. We all worry about our furkids! But of course, since she's tipsy- you should join her. And there is a ton of hugs and prayers being sent for Bos! Thanx for keeping us posted.

Great news on Molly!!

Please tell your mom she is in my thoughts and to have a cocktail from me.
(put it on my tab) I really hope Bosley's appointment goes well, he is a special guy and I know how much he means to your mom. She is a good person with a big heart. (And I am pretty fond of her daughter too)
Thanks for keeping us posted.

Yeah for Molly! We're soo glad she's doing well. Hopefully Grandma & Boz will soon follow that positive path... my heart goes out to both of them right now. I know how tough it is. And please! by all means, have a cocktail for me too All of you take very care of each other and alot of people and pooches are pulling for you! Give Molly a big kiss from Phoebes, Oliver & Merle too.

Thanks, everyone!

Just talked to mom, their appointment is in about 3 hours. She says she'll call me as soon as she finds anything out!

Molly's doing fine. I would like to know how to keep a 5 1/2 month old puppy "quiet"?!?!? She's doing everything she's not supposed to: running, jumping, stairs, "shark-dog" attacks, etc.! She's glued, no stitches. So far she doesn't seem interested in chewing or licking the site. It looks fine but I worry she's being too active.
