Speeking of smells...

I have been doing some thinking about my gang. The past month or so, Clifford will not leave Danas bum alone! He is constantly smelling it, licking it, or h umping her. Even Meka gets a sniff in sometimes.Dana has been spayed.Dana is getting to the point she doesn't want to go out and "hang out" with Clifford because he bugs her. Also, I posted in another thread Dana has much more of an odor then Clifford and Meka. Her glands have been checked a few times, all clear there.

I can imagine how irritating it is to constantly have the guys bugging her all the time. When you learn something from the vet, please let us know.

I learnt that male dogs can tell when a female is suppost to go into heat even if they are fixed. So that might be why all of the sudden he is doing this.

Clifford is of course neutered. Would he know when she is supposed to go into heat?

Dober, it could be the start a of a UTI, Willow has had one before, and for whatever reason male dogs act similar as if she was going into season.

As for doglovers post.. I've never heard that.
