Canned Dog/cat Food Recalled!!! Emergency

I just thought everyone would like to know that there has been over 48 dog foods and cats food recalled by a big dog/cat food company in the USA and i discovered today at work that dogs/cats have been coming in with kidney failure and already 10 dogs/cats have died from it.. The dog/cat food recall started December 6 2006 to march 16th 2007 so if your dog/cat has been eating any of these foods in this timeline please take ur dog to the veterinarian right away for bloodwork and urine tests to make sure your dog is not going into kidney failure... possible signs are drinking more then normal, vomitting, loss of appetite and lazyness. PLEASE VISIT THIS SITE RIGHT AWAY AND MAKE SURE THE BRAND OF DOG FOOD YOU ARE FEEDING YOUR DOG/CAT IS NOT ONE OF THESE...

this is not a joke it is serious i work at an animal hospital as a veterinarian technician and have already had 3 cats and 1 dog in with kidney failure today!!!

I think this info has already been posted here. But, it never hurts to reinforce it! It's just heartbreaking!

My husband was telling me that the great amount of these dogs foods are made in ONE place....one building. I agree with what someone wrote in the forum earlier. "Even the expnsive brands are tainted and being recalled." It makes you wonder what we are really paing for.
Yes, I read about the site on rat poisioning which adds to the beginning of my post.....many of these dog and cat foods come from the same place. I am really starting to re-evaluate buying wet food or even canned.

Just remember that this is not a component used in rodent poisoning in North America.....

Then let them keep their "component" where it came from!

My only point being it seems to be from an overseas point. Not taking offense, it's not a component used in North American rodent poisening.
Does this make it any better........NO!!!

Regardless of where it's origins are from, it somehow leaked into Menufoods plants (I believe that they have found 2 plants in 2 different states...maybe others but I'm not sure). The question that they are grappling with is HOW! How does a foreign toxin (that is also used in some chemotherapy treatments) find it's way into pet food?
