Cool

I wrote several days ago about the wisdom of making my own dog food b/c Rascal was sooooo picky and thin. I got lots of great advice. I deeply appreciated the kind, gentle way it was explained, that basically, I was really screwing up to do that. I followed up on the tips. I sent off for a sample pack of Flint River Ranch. The sample came in today. You cannot imagine my surprise and elation!!! I offered a few pieces to Rascal. He snatched them up, carried them away, gave them the smell test............ then could not gobble them up fast enough!!!! He has been begging for it! I gave him a bit of their treats as well. He LOVES them!
Many thanks to all of you who offered advice and personal experiences. Rascal is gonna be a happy dude!

Hey Rascal, you made me laugh, we have to be careful how we give advise on the forum, it would not be tactful of us to just say straight out, hey your gonna screw up on this. It has to be done gently, so you don't think that is really the way we are heading. lol.
One false move, wrong statement, and pounce, we are all over each other.
I hope you like it here, we all have the same thoughts at heart, and only too willing to help out.

hehe you think there are fights here - try checking out the horse forum. We bicker til we're blue in the face over there. All in good fun though - usually.
