Help with my dogs 3rd litter please!

Hey everyine. My dog is about to have her 3rd litter but i am confused about when she should have them. I was totally thrown off because today i took her temp and it was 98.5 degrees. She is at day 57 according to my calculations. Her nipples are very full and she barely eats. Could i bee wrong by a few days? Help!

Convert your temp to metric for me if you can please. Should be around 38.5c normally.

ooo, birth is imminent. Yes you can be out a couple of days, sometimes a b**** can come early too. Lots of pups can cause it, weather etc.
Check her vulva, is there a slightly discolored discharge, maybe yellowish to green?

yeah.....i may be 2 days off though. She has 4 pups, the most she has ever had, and it just started getting cold. So i should check for discharge? I used a digital thermometer, are those accurate enough?

Yep, not bad, I have used both. If you are two days off that is not too bad. What would happen is in the last week the pups actually develop their lungs and bone structures, its odd I know, but that is very important. They can't come early like humans can.
So if you are two days off that narrows it down to 4 days early, and hopefully she won't actually start to have them for another 12 -24 hours.
Yes check the discharge, if it is yellow it is normal, even green is normal at this stage. It doesn't mean a placenta has broken or anything, it just happens. Don't know why but I have seen it nearly every time.

She hasn't started labor yet though. She just sits there andeats alittle now and then and lays and licks a little. Nothing big. No signs of hard labor yet. Let me check for discharge.

her vulva is dry and there dosen't seem to be any green or yellow anything around her box. I just started taking her temp today and it was at 36.94 the 1st time. I didnt think that she was that far along that is why i am confused.
